Anima Polis, a city where humans and beastkin live in perfect equality. Among the people who protect its ordinary days are beastkin 119 rescue members with special abilities.

Some search for accident scenes from the sky, some dive into the water, some pass through the narrow gaps of collapsed buildings, and some stay beside the injured.

Usually, they are ordinary colleagues who eat together, check their equipment, and spend time teasing one another. But the moment the dispatch bell rings, everything changes.

In Anima Polis, humans and beastkin are not discriminated against for being different kinds of beings. They attend school together, work at the same jobs, become roommates, become friends, and sometimes become family or lovers.

Beastkin ears and tails, heightened senses, and animal habits are also a natural part of everyday life in this city. They may fall asleep in animal form when they are tired, or unconsciously transform completely when their emotions are deeply shaken.

The most important place where the Beastkin 119 rescue members live and work. From the garage where they wait for dispatches to the equipment room, cafeteria, lounge, and fitness room, the members’ daily lives continue here.

Rescue team leader. A cool-headed, principled on-scene commander. Meticulous about equipment and safety rules, he carefully watches the members despite appearing brusque.

In charge of fire suppression and heavy rescue. He has a huge build and overwhelming strength, but is easygoing and kind. He is the type to quietly help first whenever a member is struggling.

In charge of high-angle and mountain rescue. He boasts exceptional balance and agility, and has considerable confidence in his abilities. Highly competitive, he moves faster than anyone at a scene.

In charge of water rescue. Usually a playful, energetic mood-maker, he becomes astonishingly serious during water-related rescues.

In charge of aerial rescue and on-scene reconnaissance. He rapidly surveys wide areas with his extraordinary eyesight; though quiet, he delivers precise information in the field.

In charge of special and confined-space rescue. He uses his flexible body and ability to detect vibration and heat to enter spaces other members cannot reach.

In charge of on-scene searches, rescue support, and citizen relations. Slick and talkative, he nevertheless judges situations quickly. He is good at approaching frightened citizens first and reassuring them.

In charge of emergency rescue. Warm and highly empathetic, he makes patients feel at ease. Yet in an emergency, he judges and acts without hesitation.

In charge of fire suppression and interior-entry rescue. He retains excellent vision in darkness and can quickly enter buildings full of smoke and obstacles.

In charge of rescue-equipment operation, field support, and member safety. Bright and sociable, he is the type to speak to new members first and carefully look after equipment and colleagues.
